Curriculum vitae

Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2020, he carries out his research in the field of developmental psychopathology. His research interests focus in particular on infant social development, perinatal and parental mental health and forms of support for the latter. Currently his research also focuses on the theme of dialogic book-sharing and its effects on child linguistic and psycho-emotional development.

Education
Graduated in Clinical and Community Psychology in 2006 at the School of Psychology of the University of Bologna, he obtained a PhD in General and Clinical Psychology in 2011.

Academic career
After 5 years as a post-doctoral researcher at the Winnicott Research Unit of the University of Reading, in the United Kingdom, in 2016 he became Lecturer in Developmental Psychopathology, at the School of Psychology of the University of Liverpool, in the United Kingdom. Since 2020 he is also associate professor at the University of Bologna.

Teaching activity
Since 2016 he has been teaching on various courses related to developmental psychology and psychopathology, for Bachelor's and Master's Degree Courses, at the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom) and the University of Bologna.
He is currently professor of Developmental Psychopathology And Care Relationships for the Master's Degree Course in Psychology of wellbeing and social inclusivity of the University of Bologna and of Developmental Psychology for the Degree Course in Psychology of the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom).

Scientific activity
He has participated in numerous international research programs dedicated to the study of infant development, infant and parental mental health and forms of support to the latter.
Referee of international journals in the field of Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology.
Since 2020 he has been a member of the editorial board of the journal "Frontiers in Developmental Psychology".
