Leonardo Calza

Associate professor at the Bologna University from 2014, his main research topics are infectious diseases, particularly HIV infection and other viral infections (HBV, HCV, CMV, EBV). At the moment, his research activity include comorbidities associated with the prolonged life expectancy of HIV-positive patients, such as metabolic alterations, cardiovascular disease, chronic renal disease, and bone disease.
