Luca Favero

He works in the Hospital Assistance Sector of the General Directorate for Personal Care, Health and Welfare - Emilia-Romagna Region, where he is involved in monitoring appropriateness and coding systems for hospital admissions.

Previously, he worked at the Corporate Health Directorate of the Bologna University Hospital as a reference for Evaluative Epidemiology and the health information system, carrying out evaluations of hospital healthcare activities with particular attention to monitoring and controlling the quality, effectiveness and appropriateness of the services provided.

At the Ferrara University Hospital, he was head of the Research and Development Office: his main duties concerned the governance of research through monitoring, coordination and support of corporate research activities.

He is and has been the scientific lead in person for several important regional and national research projects on Health Services.
