Thesis opportunities in collaboration with èlevit
Thesis opportunities are available in collaboration with èlevit, focused on Smart Surfaces and advanced material sensing:
- Modelling and simulation of sensors integrated into materials: Physical and numerical models for capacitive, impedance and IR sensing on composites, glass, ceramics and other materials.
- Experimental characterization of sensorized materials: Measurement campaigns, comparison between simulations and real sensor behaviour, dataset generation and validation of sensing architectures.
- Signal processing and embedded intelligence for Smart Surfaces: Filtering, feature extraction and lightweight machine-learning algorithms to improve sensing reliability across different materials and environmental conditions.
Applications include advanced HMI, robotics and intelligent manufacturing. A minimum expense reimbursement is provided for the thesis activity.
