Curriculum vitae

Born in TARLAC (PHILIPPINES) on 23 October 1990. In July 2010 he graduated from the Liceo Scientifico Niccolò Copernico (Bologna). In July 2014 he graduated in Mechanical Engineering (University of Bologna - Bachelor's degree) with a thesis on high performance engines. In July 2016 he obtained a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (University of Bologna) - Motorcycle Engineering Curriculum. In August 2022 he obtained a double PhD degree from the University of Bologna and the University of Groningen.

October 2016 - April 2018: he has been in service as Research Fellow at CIRI-MAM University of Bologna (Interdepartmental Center for Industrial Research - Advanced Mechanics and Materials) for the TIME - Integrated Technology for Electric Mobility project, concerning the conversion of a car powered by an internal combustion engine to an electric car.

May 2018 - October 2018: he has been in service as Research Fellow at the CIRI-MAM University of Bologna (Interdepartmental Center of Industrial Research - Advanced Mechanics and Materials) for a project on Elastic Elements in Composite Material (carbon fiber).

November 2018 - January 2022: he has been in service as Research Fellow/PhD student at the Department of Industrial Engineering - University of Bologna for the MyLeg project (www.myleg.eu). He designed and manufactured several carbon fiber foot prostheses and applied for the patent of a system that varies the stiffness of the same prostheses. He carried out research for the same project at the University of Groningen and carried out clinical/biomechanical tests at the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen.

November 2022 - present: he is in service as Research Fellow at the CIRI-MAM University of Bologna (Interdepartmental Center of Industrial Research - Advanced Mechanics and Materials). During this research grant, he works mainly in the mechanical design of an electrospinning machine, in parallel with the activities concerning the prosthetic feet.

Since September 2018 he has been co-supervisor of several dissertations for BSc and MSc students in Mechanical, Automation and Electric Engineering.
