Short Bio

Dissection anatomy: anatomical dissection activities on bodies donated to science, with a focus on anatomical training and biomedical research.
Microenvironment in rare diseases:
- Rare brain tumors: translational study of the tumor microenvironment in adult high-grade gliomas, with a focus on the secretome.
- Rare neurodegenerative diseases: translational study of morpho-functional mechanisms in chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction (CIPO) and autosomal dominant leukodystrophy (ADLD).
- Rare diseases involving the gut–brain axis: study of molecular and anatomical determinants in mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy (MNGIE). Investigation of the role of the microbiota–gut–brain axis in neurological diseases (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease).
Experimental teaching in human anatomy: design and evaluation of innovative educational interventions for learning human anatomy.
