Honorary and Awards

 2007 Winner of the XII edition of the Marco Polo program to attend a research project at the Heart Hospital (London, UK) regarding the evaluation of arrhythmic substrates in heart failure patients;

2009 Winner of a junior post-doctoral research grant on “non-invasive evaluation of heart failure patients candidates to cardiac resynchronization therapy”.

2011 Winner of a senior post-doctoral research grant on “Functional non-invasive evaluation of candidates to pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy active on myocyte electrophysiology”. Within this project participated to the Aritmo project funded with the 7th European Framework Programme (FP7) organizing a prospective cohort study on oncology patients candidates to receive prophylactic drugs associated with QTc prolongation.

2013 Winner of the prize for the best abstract at the 10th international meeting on atrial fibrillation. Bologna, Italy (Feb 22nd, 2013)

ARITMO project: a Research and Development project funded by the Health Area of the European Commission under the VII Framework Programme involving a consortium of 17 leading research institutions for the analysis of the arrhythmic potential of non-antiarrhythmic drugs (antipsychotics, anti-infectives and antihistamines).

Center coordinator ( Osp. S. Orsola -Malpighi ):

ELECTRA registry: assessing the state of the art in the practice of extraction of pacing and defibrillation leads from the heart. Promoted by the European Society of Cardiology and involving more than 100 centers in 25 European countries.
