Haruna Saito

PhD student in the architecture and cultural design in University of Bologna, with the research topic "Characteristics of early baroque churches for liturgical musical performance: A study through acoustics and history" linked to a theme “Cultural heritage as a resource for inclusive and resilient historical cities” by The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

She graduated from the master's degree course in Science for the Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage (SCoRe) at the University of Bologna in 2023.

Dissertation: “Non-destructive testing and microclimate monitoring of churches in Bologna for the conservation of the organs.”

She worked as analytical chemistry researcher in Japan, and is a professional organist specializing in historical Italian organ.
