Education

2023- present PhD program in the architecture and cultural design, University of Bologna.

The research topics “Characteristics of early baroque churches for liturgical musical performance: A study through acoustics and history” linked to a theme "Cultural heritage as a resource for inclusive and resilient historical cities". Supervised by Prof. Lamberto Tronchin.

2026 May - June Research Internship, Department of Musicology, University of Vienna, Austria.

Research focus:A survey of performing forces in 1600s Bolognese church music. Supervised by Prof. Michele Callela.

2026 January - March Research Internship, Munetaka Yokota Organ Building and Research LLC, Japan.

Research focus: organ construction, tonal and acoustic considerations, craftsmanship processes, and the architectural framework required for building pipe organs as well as the restoration philosophy a a living artifact. Supervised by Munetaka Yokota (former researcher at the Göteborg Organ Art Center (GOArt), University of Gothenburg).

2025 August   Research Internship, Department of Town Planning and Design, College of Science and Technology, Nihon University, Japan.

Research focus: Tactile materials in architecture and organ. Supervised by Prof. Yasushi Tanaka and Prof. Susumu Oouchi.

2025 April-June PhD Workshop One Europe for Cultural Heritage Researchers: “Museums and New Challenges”, 4ECTS.

2024 July – 2025 January   Research Internship, Il Comitato B.S.A., Bologna, Italy. Conducted archival research on historical records of churches in Bologna. Supervised by Antonio Buitoni (art historian and secretary of the committee).
