Gloria Gagliardi

Associate professor at the University of Bologna. Her studies bridge Clinical Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. Her research interests are mainly devoted to developmental and acquired language disorders, tackling both verbal and extra-linguistic aspects of atypical communication. Her research activities involved the exploiting of quantitative methods (e.g., Digital Linguistic Biomarkers) and psychometric tool for diagnostic purpose.

She has been involved - and she is still involved - in several national and international research projects, namely IMAGACT (PAR FAS Regione Toscana), MODELACT (MIUR - Futuro in Ricerca 2012), OPLON Care & Cure (MIUR - Smart Cities and Communities), IMAGACT-MED (FAS Salute Regione Toscana), COST Action CA16105 - EnetCollect (Horizon 2020), COST Action CA18231 - Multi3Generation (Horizon 2020), SMACH (MIUR - PON "Ricerca e Innovazione" 2014/2020). She is currently the P.I. of the projects "AKiD" (PRIN PNRR 2022) and "MetaphAN" (AlmaIdea), and Associated Investigator of the project "ReMind" (PRIN 2022).

She is the scientific coordinator of the Professional Master’s programme in "Clinical Linguistics".
