Giuliana Laschi is Professor of Contemporary history and History of European integration. She is Jean Monnet Chair ad personam and President of the Scientific Committee of Punto Europa Forlì - University of Bologna, “Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence”.

PhD in History at the European University Institute (EUI) where she was also Research Fellow. Her main research fields: the history of European integration, the political history of CAP, the external relations of EEC/EU. She has organized national and international conferences and she is the leader of various European research projects. Among the most recent: OTA, SFC, EU Learn e DEEP.

Among her latest books: L’Europa e gli altri. (2015); Storia dell’integrazione europea (2021). Among her recent edited books: Europe between Migrations, Decolonization and Integration (2020) with Valeria Deplano e Alessandro Pes; L’Europa adulta. (2020) with Elena Calandri and Simone Paoli.

Associate Professor (since 2005) of Contemporary history and History of European integration, University of Bologna, Department of Political and Social Science, Forlì Campus.

1991: PhD in History, European University Institute (EUI) with a thesis titled “L’Italia e il processo d’integrazione europea: il caso dell’agricoltura, 1947-1960”.

Teaching activity

She is currently Professor of Contemporary history for the Bachelor in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs, Forlì Campus and of History of European integration for the Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs, Forlì Campus.

She has been teaching continuously in many international Master (University of Siena, Maribor, Krakow, Kaunas, Podgorica, Siegen, Ponta Delgada, Buenos Aires, etc).
