PhD in Philosophy, Science, Cognition and Semiotics (PSCS), researches in the field of Aesthetics. Her main interests are classical German philosophy (in particular Hegel), its contemporary reception, critical theory (in particular Adorno), dialectical thought and its social implications. Her research is focused on the relationship between aesthetic truth and conceptual truth and the link between the experiential dimension of the aesthetic and theoretical models of dialectics. She graduated at the University of Pisa and at the Scuola Normale Superiore, and obtained her PhD at the University of Bologna. She carried out research stays in Freiburg im Breisgau, Potsdam, Berlin. She collaborates as editor with the journal "Studi di estetica/aesthetic studies". She is author of some articles in collective volumes and scientific journals.
