In 2015 PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology science, of the development and the human movement (05/G1, BIO/14) with a thesis "Neurodegenerative diseases: molecular mechanisms and new strategies for neuroprotection" at the University of Bologna. In september 2022 achieved the National Scientific qualification as associate in the higher education system for the disciplinary field of 05/G1 - Pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and pharmacognosy (Academic Recruitment Field 05/G - Experimental and clinical pharmacology, according to the national classification). In 2023 PhD in Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences (06/D6, MED/26) with the thesis "Evaluation of the transcriptomic response of an Alzheimer’s disease murine model induced at different ages: searching for predictors" at the University of Bologna.

Experiences and Education

Research Fellow by 01/01/2015 at the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology at University of Bologna with a project "Study of molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration induced by beta amyloid proteinin in an in vivo model to investigate new therapeutic target". Visiting graduate student by 15/01/2013 to 20/12/2013 at Brain and Mind Research Insitute of Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. The study was focused on neurodegenerative mechanisms and neuroprotective startegies in a long term study of cerebral ischemia in a transgenic mouse model. From 03/07/2012 to 07/07/2012 she partecipated to Summer School of Neuroscience "Neuroinflammation in CNS disorders: priming a target for new therapies" organized by the Department of Clinic and Molecular Medicine - Section of Pharmacology and Biochemistry of University of Catania.
