PhD student at the Normal Anatomy Department of the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences at the University of Bologna since 2021 (Tutor: Prof. Cristiano Bombardi), she carries out her research in the field of Neuroanatomy and the serotonergic, endocannabinoid, peptidergic and calcium-binding protein systems. Her research interests are particularly focused on the study of the central and peripheral nervous system and some effector organs of different species of veterinary interest. The techniques used mainly involve immunohistochemistry. She is currently carrying out her research project entitled: ‘Exploring the nervous system and some effector organs in veterinary species with a focus on calcium-binding proteins, serotenergic, endocannabinoid and peptidergic systems’, as well as further research activities carried out at the Normal Anatomy Service and in collaboration with researchers at Dimevet and outside it.
