EXPERIENCE

Tutoring and teaching support activities

From April 2022 to date: Teaching tutor for the CdS magistrale ''Food animal metabolism and management in the circular economy'', teaching support activities aimed at assisting students (CdS Coordinator Prof. Giulio Visentin).
Academic year 2022/2023: Co-author of a Master's degree thesis in Animal Production Safety and Quality (class LM-86 - Animal Science and Technology) University of Bologna entitled "Determination by UPLC-MS/M of β-lactam antibiotics in milk for cheese production'. Candidate: Giacomo Depau

Academic year 2022/2023: Technical support for the traineeship activity of the course in FOOD INSPECTION, CONTROL AND CERTIFICATION VET/04 (C.I.) of the Single-Cycle Degree Course in Veterinary Medicine, at DIMEVET of the University of Bologna. Course holder Prof.ssa Teresa Gazzotti

Academic year 2022/2023: Technical support to the traineeship activity of the course in FOOD SAFETY AND HYGIENE VET/04 (C.I.) of the Combined Bachelor and Master Degree Course in Veterinary Medicine, at DIMEVET of the University of Bologna. Course holder Prof. Giampiero Pagliuca

Research period abroad

2021-2022: The research activity involved the development of a multi-residual method for the simultaneous detection and quantification of mycotoxins and pesticides in honey by LC-HRMS-Q-TOF. Carried out at University of Valencia, Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Food Sciences, Toxicology and Forensic Medicine, Av. Vicent Andrés Estellés, s/n 46100 Burjassot, València.

From March 2018 to May 2018:
During the curricular internship activity, acted as an assistant in a research on the variability of milk production in terms of quality and quantity in grass-fed cows milked once a day or twice a day. Carried out under the Erasmus+ programme, at Teagasc, Moorepark Food Research Centre, Fermoy, Co. Cork, Ireland.

Internship

From June 2020 to October 2020:
The internship activity mainly concerned chemical analysis and the development of analytical methods using LC-MS/MS in products of animal origin for the detection of residues and chemical contaminants such as:
-determination and quantification of the biogenic amine histamine in samples of fish species
-determination and quantification of vitamin B12 in sheep's cheese samples

ACTIVITIES IN RESEARCH GROUPS
-Development of a LC-MS/MS method for the detection and quantification of per - polyfluoroalkyl substances in breast milk.
-Development of a multi-residual LC-MS/MS method for the detection and quantification of glyphosate, glufosinate and their metabolites in different types of honey.
-Realisation by LC-MS/MS of β-lactam antibiotic elimination curves from animals treated in collaboration with the Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. Consortium.
-Development and validation of a method for the detection and quantification of β-lactam antibiotic residues in cow's milk and serum graft in collaboration with the Consorzio del Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P.
-Development and validation of a method using LC-MS/MS for the determination and quantification of vitamin B12 in samples of various types of ripened cheese.
-Development of a multi-residual method for the simultaneous detection and quantification of mycotoxins and pesticides in honey by LC-HRMS-Q-TOF.
Analysis for the determination and quantification of fatty acids in breast milk and erythrocytes by GC-FID.
-Development and validation of a method by LC-MS/MS for the determination and quantification of vitamin B12 in sheep's cheese samples.
-Development and validation of a method via LC-MS/MS for the determination and quantification of the biogenic amine histamine in fish samples
