Giulia Polizzi

PhD student at the University of Bologna since November 2024. Her research focuses on Animal Production and Food Safety, with a particular interest in the development and evaluation of innovative technologies applied to food for human consumption, including dry-ageing and dry-curing of fishery products.

Since June 2025, she has been a Resident of the European College of Veterinary Public Health (ECVPH), Food Safety subspecialty.

She graduated in Veterinary Medicine in November 2021 and completed her postgraduate specialisation in Inspection of Foods of Animal Origin in July 2024.

From February 2023 to March 2024, she carried out research activities at the University of Naples Federico II through a research fellowship funded by CRiSSaP.
