Circular cities. A decision-making framework in support of innovation and urban planning.
The project aims at defining how a circular city can be defined to identify a methodology useful to integrate concepts of circular economy with urban planning.
The research starts with a survey among EU initiatives and ongoing projects concerning the application of circular economy principles in urban planning and the sistematization of current regulatory framework. Then, good practices and tools will be identified together with the main stakeholders to apply them to urban planning processes and tools.
To conclude, the research output will be validated through one case study.
