I was born in Castiglione del Lago (PG), on 01/05/1995.
Since 2021 I’m a PhD student in Health Science and Technology at the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna with the project “Biomechanical rationale and testing of femoral prosthetic component for amputees", under the supervision of Prof. Luca Cristofolini (tech part) and Prof. Stefano Zaffagnini (med part). The focus of the project is on the evaluation of mechanical stability of osseointegrated transfemoral prostheses through in vitro mechanical tests using Linear Variable Displacement Transducer (LVDT) and Digital Image Correlation (DIC).
In 2021 I was a Research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN) of the University of Bologna. Research focused on the mechanical stability of osseointegrated transfemoral prostheses.
In 2021 I obtained the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, at the University of Bologna, with the experimental thesis entitled “Caratterizzazione biomeccanica sperimentale per il trattamento di pseudoartrosi dell'arto superiore" in Mechanics of Biological Tissues, under the supervision of Prof. Luca Cristofolini.
