Giovanni Tartarini

Associate Professor of Electromagnetic Fields at the University of Bologna, he is Head of the Optics Laboratory at the Department of Electrical Electronic and Information Engineering, and is currently holding the role of Delegate for Teaching and Education of the same Department.

Engaged in national and international research projects and responsible of the activity of young researchers, he has authored over 100 indexed publications.

His activities, carried out in collaboration with private companies and research institutions, concern optical systems and devices, including the "Radio over Fiber / Microwave Photonics" scope, for applications in the areas of Telecommunications, Sensors and Radio Astronomy.
