RESEARCH ACTIVITY
Prof. Barbara is supervisor of a team of researchers including
Students, PhDs, Laboratory technicians and Postdoctolral Fellows.
Research is mainly carried out in the Laboratories of the
Department of Clinical Medicine and the Center for Applied
Biomedical Research (CRBA) at the University of Bologna. The main
field of interest include: biomolecular, therapeutic and social
aspects of functional gastrointestinal disorders,
neurogastroenterology, intestinal infectious and inflammatory bowel
diseases.
