Short Bio

PhD in Sociology and Political Sciences, she currently teaches General Sociology, Sociology of Culture and Sociology of Sports communication at “AMS” University of Bologna – Italy (Rimini and Bologna campus). As Associate professor in Sociology of Culture and Communications her main topic of research are: cultural consumption, new culture of wellbeing, wellness, and sustainability; practices of sport and physical activities, sporty consumption and communication, disability, religion and migration. Principale investigator for the AlmaIdea2022 Project "NextGenerationEU", entitled: The Sports Cultural production and the City: places, memory, identity participation; team member of national grant projects as PRIN 2022: Sport Politics: Football, Media, and National Identity in Italy (1968-2006); and PRIN Pnrr 2022: dis-ABILITY!’: Challenging the stigma of disability by altering the media representation of Paralympic Games.
