I have a degree in Natural Sciences and I am assistant professor at the University of Bologna since 2002. My research activities concern Vegetation and Landscape Ecology, with a special focus on land cover changes and the consequences on plant species diversity. Currently, I am studying the Apennines woods of Castanea sativa (under the ecological, historical and social profiles) and the validity and limits of historical sources for change detection. At the same time, I carry out a scientific dissemination activity to promote the return to the territory of the knowledge developed.
