Giorgio Bedogni

My research activity began in 1988 dealing with the evaluation of nutritional status. Between 1988 and 1998 I developed a framework for the evaluation of nutritional status (body composition, energy balance and body function) that I perfected and actively disseminated through publications, books, and courses in the following 20 years. My growth as a researcher has continued by developing ever-increasing skills in the field of research methodology and applied statistics. This has allowed me numerous national and international scientific collaborations, the most important of which was the contribution to the Dionysos study on the epidemiology of liver diseases.
