Giordano Odone is currently pursuing a PhD course in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bologna. His main research and scientific interests are in the area of water use in agriculture. In particular, he is working on a number of projects oriented towards the exploitation of wastewater coming from urban treatment plants in order to evaluate the positive and negative effects of its reuse in crop irrigation.
During his studies, he worked on different topics in the area of sustainability and optimisation of agricultural practices. More precisely, he worked on developing active bio-polymers derived from a coffee processing by-product, olive tree physiology and reclaimed waters reusing for agricultural irrigation.
