Research activities
Since November 2024, PhD student in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN), University of Bologna, with a scholarship co-funded by Next Generation EU – PNRR and Ferrari S.p.A.
His research focuses on failure and root-cause analysis of automotive components and on the development of phenomenological and reduced-order models for durability assessment, with particular attention to the correlation between bench testing and vehicle operating conditions.
Education
In 2024, he received his Master’s Degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering from the Motorvalley University of Emilia-Romagna (MUNER), graduating with honors. His thesis was developed at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Bologna, and focused on the homogenization and artificial-neural-network prediction of the elastic properties of TPMS structures.
In 2022, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua, graduating with honors.
Teaching activities
During the 2025/2026 academic year, he served as teaching tutor for the course Comportamento Meccanico dei Materiali within the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bologna, Forlì Campus.
In 2026, he also served as tutor for the International Summer School in Industrial Engineering for Advanced Automotive organized by MUNER.
Scientific activities and dissemination
He participates in the MOST – Spoke 11 REOBTAIN project, with research focused on the experimental characterization of sustainable lubricants for automotive threaded joints.
He presented research results within the AIAS Technical Committee Automotive and at the AIAS 2026 conference.
