The Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Food Chemistry Laboratory (FTCA) carries out chemical-analytical activities in the food, environmental, and biomedical fields, particularly in veterinary medicine.
- Develops and employs analytical methods for the detection of residues, contaminants, and endogenous molecules in food for humans and animals, water, tissues, and other biological matrices.
- Conducts pharmacokinetic, toxicological, and residual depletion studies.
The FTCA Laboratory is ISO 9001 certified and the laboratory structure and organization are adequate for conducting studies in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
