University Researcher and since 2014 Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, he carries out his research in the field of allergology, immunology and pediatric pneumology. Research interests, combined with clinical activity, are particularly aimed at food allergy and the possibility of achieving tolerance through oral desensitization. Another research topic is the study of the different phenotypes present in atopic dermatitis of childhood. In the field of pneumology, the research is aimed at the characterization of asthma with the definition of the different profiles of clinical severity, with the possibility of performing, in severe cases, therapy with biological drugs.
Engaged in national and international research projects. Author of numerous publications in the sector; for 6 years he has been editor of the Rivista di Immunologia e Allergologia Pediatrica.
