Current position: Associate Professor at the Department
of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the University of Bologna. Member of the FEDIAF Scientific Advisory Board. From 2017 to 2021 President of the Italian Society of Nutrition and Animal Nutrition - SIANA. From 2018 to 2023 he was delegated to the Third Mission for his Department. Since November 2021 Programme Director of the degree on Safety and Quality in animal Production

Research and consultancy activities for companies in the feed industry: Since 2001, he has been responsible for numerous contracts with Italian and foreign companies, in the form of consultancy contracts (with various companies, including Agras Delic SpA, Effeffe Pet Food SpA, Aenova Holding GmbH, Chemi-Vit srl, COLDS srl, Platto srl, We Do srl) and research contracts (with various companies such as Agras Delic SpA, Effeffe Pet Food SpA, Biomin GmbH, Dr. Eckel GmbH, Danstar Ferment Ag, Sintofarm SpA., Spectrum Brands (UK) Limited).
