1996 - To date: University of Bologna ( appointed as Professor of "Physics in Radiology" at the post-graduate School of Medical Physics, as well as at the B.Sc. course for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Technology) .

Patient doses in radiology (diagnostic reference levels, monitoring of the medical radiological exposures of the population, interventional radiology, ...);

Quality assurance and quality control procedures on radiology systems (Computed Radiography, Direct Digital Radiography, Digital Angiography, conventional projection radiography);

Diagnostic imaging analysis;

Statistical aspects of scientific studies carried out together with the clinicians (ROC curves, ...).

 

He published many papers in peer-reviewed scientific Journals and book chapters, and many communications at Congresses and Courses.
