Short Bio

Giulia Torcolacci is a Ph.D. student in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technologies Engineering at the University of Bologna, and currently a Teaching Tutor for the Master's course "Communication Systems: Theory and Measurement M". She received the Master Science Degree in Telecommunications Engineering with Honors (summa cum laude) on 05/10/2022.

Recepient of a research grant, from February 2022 until August 2022 she held the position of Research Associate at WiLab - CNIT, dealing with the study of Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to Smart Radio Environments.

From September 2021 to September 2022, she was Academic Tutor of the first exchange program between the University of Bologna and ESIEE in Paris, devoting herself to coordination activities of incoming students.

Current research interests and activities are mainly in the area of wireless communications, with particular interest in smart radio environments for sixth-generation networks and smart surfaces. Go to the Curriculum vitae
