  • Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, 05/10/2022, University of Bologna, with honors (summa cum laude). Graduation Merit Award conferred by the University of Bologna.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, 03/12/2020, University of Bologna.

Research Experience

  • Ph.D. student in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technologies Engineering at the University of Bologna, conducting research on MIMO, RIS, and near-field processing for 6G networks and Smart Radio Environments (SREs). Involved in European H2020 projects (TIMES, 6G-SHINE), national projects (RESTART), and international collaborations.

  • Research Collaborator at DEI and at WILAB – National Laboratory of Wireless Communications (CNIT), focusing on deep learning for PHY layer modeling and advanced near-field transmission techniques.

  • Co-author of numerous articles in IEEE journals and conferences. Reviewer for IEEE Transactions and member of Technical Program Committees (TPC) in international IEEE conferences, with experience as session chair. Received the IEEE Communications Society Exemplary Reviewer Award in 2023.

Teaching Experience

  • Teaching Assistant for the master’s course Communication Systems: Theory and Measurement M, Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering (DEI), University of Bologna, conducting practical labs and exercises.

  • Teaching Assistant for Digital Communications and Internet and Telecommunications Systems, leading practical lab sessions for bachelor’s and master’s students.

Other Activities

  • Academic Tutor for the DEI–ESIEE Paris exchange program, September 2021 – September 2022.

  • Participation in national and international conferences with oral and poster presentations, including IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM, SPAWC, and national workshops.
