At present, he is a confirmed researcher of Labour Law at Bologna University connected with the Department of Legal Sciences “A.Cicu”. He is now the holder of Comparative and Transnational Labour Law course.
Instruction
After his degree in Law at Bologna University, he also took a Phd in Labour Law and industrial relations.
Didactics
Since the academic year 2010/11 he has been holding the chair of Labour Law at the University of Bologna after many didactic experiences in various Italian universities. He obtained his first chair of Public Labour Law at Trento University, then he taught at Perugia University.
At the Bologna University for several years he held the chair of Trade Union Law at the Law Consultant Degree Course, of Social Welfare Degree Course at Bologna University at the Economic Faculty and Private Law at Bologna University- Political Scienze Faculty.
Scientific activity
His main research area includes Labour Security, dismissals and Industrial relations models. During the last few years his research focused on transnational topics such as religious discrimination and social consequences of UE political economy.
He is part of the scientific committee of one of the most prestigious labour law scientific magazine such as “Rivista Giuridica del Lavoro”.
Institutional positions
He was part of Prime Minister Conte’s government’s Task Force for COVID-19 emergency and its social consequences and economical crisis in April 2020.
Professional Experiences
As a Lawyer, he was able to create his own experience in business crisis and deindustrialization, having the opportunity to be involved in many complex and delicate cases in a national level. He is also involved in the study of the actual Industrial relations and collective bargaining crisis, being part, as a lawyer, in the most important national cases in this area.
