Curriculum vitae

Research fellow at the University of Bologna since 2023, he carries out his research in the fields of Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality. Further topics of interest are action planning, imagery and action observation. Specifically, his current grant project addresses the prediction of real or imagined motor actions through Artificial Intelligence algorithms starting from neurophysiological signals (e.g. EEG).

Academic career

He obtained a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Pisa with a thesis entitled: "The relation between motor imagery abilities, memory and plasticity in healthy adults". After a few years of post-doctoral work at the IMT School of Advanced Studies Lucca on topics related to Neuroscience applied to organizations, since 2 October 2023 she has been a Research Fellow at the University of Bologna.

Scientific and institutional activities

Author of numerous publications in international scientific journals, he was Treasurer and Secretary of the Italian Association of Sport and Exercise Psychology and currently collaborates with Italian and foreign institutes and universities. Referee of international and Italian journals in the field of Neuroscience and Sports Psychology.
