Since 2023, he has been a health researcher at IRCCS-Istituto delle Scienze Neurologiche di Bologna, affiliated with the Data Science and Bioinformatics Laboratory. His research focuses on neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases, with a special emphasis on analyzing data from NGS and long-read sequencing, studying mitochondrial DNA, and applying statistical and machine learning models for the integration and analysis of multi-modal data.
