3D modeling of vehicles and environments for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality simulations of advanced mobility scenarios (topic suitable for internships and bachelor's theses)
The thesis will be carried out in the Virtual Reality laboratory of the Engineering headquarters in Via Fontanelle 40. The work is part of the PNRR MOST (Sustainable Mobility (centronazionalemost.it) project. Among the planned activities:
1) CAD modeling in Sodidworks and/or Rhinoceros 3D and/or Blender 4 environmentos 3D and/or Blender 4 (depending on the student's aptitudes);
2) Understanding of the functional principles of Virtual Reality devices - 3D headsets;
3) Exporting of scenario data in Unity 3D environment;
3D modeling of machines and environments for Virtual Reality simulations of Educational Laboratories 4.0 scenarios (topic suitable for internships and bachelor's theses)
The thesis will be carried out in the Virtual Reality laboratory of the Engineering headquarters in Via Fontanelle 40. The work is part of the innovation projects of the educational offer of the headquarters. Among the planned activities:
1) CAD modeling in Sodidworks and/or Rhinoceros 3D and/or Blender 4 environment (depending on the student's aptitudes;
2) Understanding of the operation and use of Virtual Reality devices - 3D headsets;
3) Export of scenario data in Unity 3D environment;
