assays for the study of viral infections, with particular attention
to parvovirus B19;
II. Gene expression analysis using oligonucleotide arrays and
PCR arrays applied to the study of virus-cell interaction in model
systems of medical interest;
III. Development of devices and analytical procedures "lab on
chip" involving the use of luminescent tracers for the diagnosis of viral infections;
IV. Evaluation of the antiviral and antimicrobial activities of
drugs and natural compounds.
