Flaminia Fanelli is Researcher at the University of Bologna since july 2018. She has 10 years experience in LC-MS/MS assay development, methods’ comparison and clinical validation studies. Main fields of interest are steroid hormones and endocannabinoid involvement in endocrine diseases such as obesity, metabolic syndrome, female hyperandrogenism, male hypogonadism, adrenal incidentalomas and genetic syndromes. She leads the analytical division of the Endocrinology Unit at the Center for Applied Biomedical Research. She contributed in the design and management of several National and European projects and has several active collaborations with European centers. She’s currently heading an harmonization program for steroid hormone measurement. She is part of the Scientific Comittee of the Mass Spectrometry Advancement in Clinical Lab since 2017.
