Short Bio

I was awarded my PhD in Philosophy in 2014 by the Northern Institute of Philosophy, University of Aberdeen, with a thesis on disagreement and the normativity of truth. My thesis was supervised by Crispin Wright and Carrie Jenkins, and examined by Paul Horwich and Matthew Chrisman. After my PhD, I held post-doctoral positions in philosophy at the Universities of Aberdeen (Leverhulme Trust), Bonn (DFG), and Padova (STARS@UniPd). I am a member of various international research centres such as Cogito, Inductive Metaphysics, The Virtual International Consortium for Truth Research, and I am the founder and coordinator of two international networks: BoBoPa and Euphilo. I have published numerous scientific articles in high-ranked peer-reviewed journals and I am the author of two books: "Truth and Norms" and "Verità e Post-Verità: Dall'indagine alla Post-Indagine" (with Sebastiano Moruzzi). SI, currently the Principal Investigator of a PRIN PNRR project titled “Understanding Scientific Disagreement”.
