Prof. Ferruccio Poli (SCOPUS 2020: documents: 140; total citations: 2467; h-index: 28) is Full Professor at the School of Pharmacy and Biotechnology of the University of Bologna (UniBo) (disciplinary sector BIO 15: Pharmaceutical Biology).
His researches involve studies of ethnobotany, phytochemistry and metabolomics aimed at identifying plants of interest used in traditional medicine, characterizing plants bioactive metabolites, with particular attention to the study of plant-environment interactions and valorization of industrial wastes and by-products of natural origin, as well as quality control of herbal products.
