Ph.D. in Industrial and Territorial Engineering (E4E Doctoral School) from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a dissertation titled “Digital technologies to promote human factors integration in Industry 4.0”.
Currently Fixed-term Researcher (RTD-A) in the scientific disciplinary sector IIND-03/B - Industrial Engineering Design and Methods at the University of Bologna.
His research activity focuses on Human-Centered Design, user/operator experience evaluation, digital human simulation, virtual and augmented reality, and immersive and interactive environments to support product and process design in the context of Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
He has been involved in national and European research projects (H2020, Horizon Europe), particularly on topics such as human-centered design, XR-based training and design, and ergonomics.
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical and scientific coordinator for applied research projects in collaboration with companies such as CNH Industrial, Tetra Pak, Deep Blue, and SACMI.
