Research assistant. Coordination and supervision of research projects on the role of microbiota in intestinal inflammation, nutrition and malabsoprtion. Projects have been conducted in collaboration between the University, other public Institutions and domestic and international companies in the feed/food business.

June, 2010: Rome, Italy

Winner of the Montana Alimentari award for research in the food area; first  classified; the grant was 75.000 €.

Leader of a project titled “slow-release molecules to control intestinal foodborne pathogens in meat and milk”. Montana Alimentari, Gruppo Cremonini, Italy.

April, 2008: Cremona, Italy

Winner of the Archimede Mordenti award. Best dissertation concerning the advanced approach and the progress in swine nutrition; the award was conferred for the PhD thesis. Accademia dei Porci Bravi, Italy.

PhD in "Improvement of animal production and feed and food quality"; dissertation title “Development of non-pharmaceutical strategies to improve intestinal health in piglets”.
