Erica Piccirilli

PhD student in Paleoanthropology at the Department of Cultural Heritage, University of Bologna (Campus of Ravenna). 

Her research project is focused on the analysis of fossil Hominins remains through the use of digital methods.

Currently, she is studying the Neanderthal remains from Grotta Guattari (San Felice Circeo, LT) with particular interest  in the taxonomic and morpho-functional features, in order to reconstruct their biological profile and paleodemographic aspects, and to understand their location within the evolutionary landscape.
