Enrico Gallinucci has been a researcher at the University of Bologna since 2013. His work focuses on the fields of business intelligence, big data, and modern data-intensive systems, with particular interest in data modeling, integration, management, and analytics from both methodological and algorithmic perspectives. His main research topics include the design and optimization of schemas for NoSQL databases; the integration of AI into data platforms through Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge graph-based architectures; and, more broadly, the development of intelligent approaches to support data discovery, organization, exploration, and analysis within complex data ecosystems, enabling scalable and effective decision-making processes. He is currently involved in several research and technology transfer projects aimed at applying these methodologies in real-world contexts, with particular expertise in the field of precision agriculture.
