In 2020, he received the Think4Food Award from Legacoop as Best Young Researcher and was awarded a Proof of Concept grant by the Venture Factory investment fund, together with a scholarship to pursue an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA), which he completed in 2022. In 2021, he ranked second in the Call4BusinessPlan competition. In 2022, he received the 2021 Intellectual Property Award from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) in Dubai for the international Re-Paper patent.
Since the 2023–2024 academic year, he has served as teaching tutor for the course Chemistry and Biochemistry of Plant Nutrition (M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies), and since 2026 he has been the instructor of Soil Fertility Management (B.Sc. in Viticulture and Oenology).
Dr. Buscaroli is the author of 21 scientific publications, including 14 papers in peer-reviewed journals (213 citations; H-index: 7, Scopus, accessed on 7 January 2026), two teaching textbooks, and one monograph. He is the inventor of one international patent and occasionally collaborates with FoodHUB, a blog dedicated to food and agribusiness.
