Curriculum vitae

Enrica starts her studies at the University of Bologna in 2008. Firstly, she graduated in Environment engineering University of Bologna, Majoring in Environmental policies, with a thesis titled: "Applicazione ella direttiva Emission Traiding nel settore delle piastrelle ceramiche.", with the score of 100/110. During this thesis, she collaborated with Centro ceramico di Bologna.

She continued her studies at University of Bologna accomplishing her master degree in 2014, in Environmental engineering, majoring in technologies for the environment, with a thesis titled " Biodegradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) by Sphingomonas sp. strain LB126 and Novosphingobium sp. strain LH128 under batch and continuous conditions.", with the score of 110 with honor. This research has been conducted at the Earth and Life Institute, in Louvain la Neuve, Belgium.

She fiished her Ph.D. studies in June 2019 in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Bologna at the School of Agriculture and Veterinary. The thesis was focused on the study of ventilation stratiegies for agricultural buildings, in particular for greenhouses and wine cellar, thanks to a Computational Fluid Dynamic approach and experimental analysis (wind tunnel tests). The idea behind the project is to improve the indoor climate, from which the quality and the safety of the products depend, based on the improvement of the building characterists, of the envelope and also based on new solutions for the optimization of ventilation. During this PhD Enrica spent 6 months at the Aarhus University, in the research group of Prof. Zhang.

She currently works as a research fellow at DISTAL, an Agricultural Engineering group, and also carries out the teaching tutor of the course on Elements of Mathematics for the Ornamental Green Degree, at the Imola District.
