Adjunct professor of New Technologies for Learning at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, adjunct professor at the Department of Human Sciences of the University of Verona and the University of Milano-Bicocca, as well as at the Department of Humanistic Studies of the University of Trieste. He deals with studies oriented to the perspective of a New Humanism, with inter- and trans-disciplinary approach to pedagogical issues and functional knowledge to interpret complexity. He has research interests directed toward the exploration of dynamics related to the inclusive dimension of education. He is affiliated with scientific societies and research centers, is a member of CERC-Comparative Education Research Centre, CAISE-Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education, CITE-Centre for Information Technology in Education-Faculty of Education HKU-University of Hong Kong; is an associate of the ENSEC-European Network for Social and Emotional Competence, afferent to the Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health-University of Malta; component Research Center for Pedagogical-Educational Care of the University of Insubria; member of the H-Net Network: Humanities and Social Sciences Online. He is a member of the Order of Journalists and is a publicist and columnist.
