Emanuele Mariani

In 2010 I defended my PhD thesis supervised by Jean-Luc Marion of the French Academy at Université Paris Sorbonne under cotutelle agreement with Università del Salento. In 2011 I was awarded the "Vittorio Sainati Prize" in Italy for best PhD thesis in philosophy under the sponsorship of the President of the Italian Republic. Thanks to a FCT fellowship, I was post-doc in Portugal from 2012 to the end of 2016. In 2014 I became research fellow at Université de Lille; in 2015 full member of Centro de Filosofia at Universidade de Lisboa and member of the research group "Discipline Filosofiche" at Università di Bologna. In 2017 I have been awarded a FCT Investigador Starting Grant (FCT 2015") and became part of the Department of Philosophy at Universidade de Lisboa, where I started teaching on a regular basis in the Philosophy Master Program. I am currently secretary of AFFEN (Portuguese Association for Phenomenology) and vice-director of Phainomenon.
