I am Associate Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, University of Bologna. My research focuses on German, French and Italian phenomenology, contemporary German philosophy, metaphysics and ontology, with attention to the relations between phenomenology, psychology and the Aristotelian tradition. In 2010 I earned my PhD in cotutelle between Paris-Sorbonne and the University of Salento, under the supervision of Jean-Luc Marion, with a thesis on analogy and the Aristotelian tradition of phenomenology. In 2011 I received the “Vittorio Sainati” Prize for the best PhD thesis in philosophy. From 2012 to 2016 I was an FCT postdoctoral researcher in Portugal; in 2017 I was awarded an FCT Investigador Starting Grant at the Universidade de Lisboa. Formerly secretary of AFFEN and vice-director of Phainomenon, I am a member of the editorial board of Discipline Filosofiche. My recent work explores phenomenology, ontology and the philosophy of psychology.
