The research activity focuses on atmospheric and space flight, and is developed along the following main lines:

dynamics and control of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft,

preliminary design and performance analysis of electric vehicles,

execution of experimental campaigns in the laboratory and in the field, and
-
development of attitude control systems for low Earth orbit satellite platforms.
With regard to technology transfer, Prof. de Angelis is currently a founding partner of a university spin-off, an additional innovative startup, and holds two patents.
