Eleonora Iaccheri is a Researcher at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences and a member of the Interdepartmental Centre for Industrial Research in Agri-Food, operational unit: Food Processes and Products. Her research activity began in 2008 during her undergraduate studies, thanks to the award of a scholarship. She obtained a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology in 2010 and a PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Food Sciences and Technologies, with a focus on Agricultural Engineering, in 2015. She has been awarded several research grants and fellowships, mainly focused on the study of dielectric properties and the multidisciplinary approach to investigating the state and mobility of water in agri-food products. She was appointed by the Big Data Association to collaborate on the “Agri-food” project, aimed at strengthening the capacity of the regional production system.
