Curriculum vitae

She graduated in Conference Interpreting (Master degree) from the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators in Forlì (B languages: English and French), with a dissertation entitled Interpreters in conflict zones (In collaboration with the Italian Defence Higher Studies Centre). From 2014 to 2017 she studied Croatian at the University of Zagreb. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as a medical interpreter at the Hospital of Rimini.

She is currently working as a freelance conference interpreter on the private market and for the European Institutions in Brussels, for which she obtained accreditation in 2021 with Italian, French, English, Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian as working languages.

From 2011 until 2016 she worked as an adjunct English professor at the University of Macerata, Italy and from 2012 until 2014 she was as a lecturer in French at the Advanced School for Language Mediators (SSML) in Ancona. From 2017 until 2019 she worked as an adjunct professor at the Department of Interpretation and Translation (DIT) in Forlì, University of Bologna teaching mainly dialogic interpreting. She obtained her PhD in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies from the University of Bologna in 2023 with a thesis titled: "Silence after bombs. Practice, role and training of interpreters in conflict zones. A case study of the war in Former Yugoslavia".

She is a sworn translator and interpreter for the Courts of Rimini and San Marino, and a registered translator and interpreter of the Croatian Consulate in Milan.
